First working iphone in New Zealand!
John Ballinger from Bluespark.co.nz (with the help of his mate Shaun O’donnell) has hacked his iphone so that it works on the Vodafone New Zealand network. No AT&T!
This is probably the first proper working (SMS/Phone calls, etc) iphone in New Zealand, and it only took about 6 hours of hard work! :)

i have an iphone next to me right now.i bought last Friday at a shop in west auckland…Put the vodafone sim in and away it went.I love it

in the main st of henderson a phone import shop next to the mall entrance.I am a bit worried now that i have got one of the phones hacked by the gentleman shown above.Hope i will be able to software update.oh well its still amazing
by the way is there any reason that youtube doesn’t work in new zealand?
Hi, I unlocked mime, phone and internet working perfect with Vodafone NZ, but i cant recive any sms on it yet. any advice???

The youtube and sms problems can be fixed I’m sure, just google the problem and a workaround will be there somewhere! :)
